Amy Lobben is a Professor in the Department of Geography at the University of Oregon's College of Arts and Sciences. Her research focuses on Geographic Information Science, Human-Environmental Interaction, Spatial Decision Making, and Neurogeography.
- Education: B.A. (1991), M.A. (1996) from Georgia State University; Ph.D. (1999) from Michigan State University
- Research: Investigates human-environmental decision making and behavior using controlled research designs, mixed-methods, and computational modeling grounded in spatial information theory and cognition
- Teaching: Offers courses in geospatial concepts, spatial data visualization, GIS, map perception, and GIScience advancements
She leads the Spatial Cognition Research Group and maintains the lab website at S3C Lab.
