Amy L. Drendel, DO, MS, is a Professor of Pediatrics and Chief of the Section of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Her work focuses on patient-oriented translational research in pediatric pain management, particularly optimizing analgesic regimens for children with fractures and understanding the at-home pain experience. She leads a NIH-funded multi-center study on fracture pain treatment efficacy and has contributed to over 15 peer-reviewed publications since 2022.
