Amy Kendrick is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing at Fitchburg State University's School of Health and Natural Sciences. She teaches courses including Medical-Surgical Nursing II Clinical (NURS 3400), Selected Nursing Practicum (NURS 4800), and Evidence Based Practice in Nursing (NURS 3710).
- Ph.D. in Nursing (Health Promotion focus) from University of Massachusetts Lowell (2022)
- Master of Science in Adult Ambulatory Nursing from University of Massachusetts Graduate School of Nursing (2004)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Anselm College (2000)
Her research focuses on health promotion and public health, particularly examining food insecurity among college students. Her 2022 publication in Nursing Forum applies nursing and public health perspectives to analyze social determinants of health and health equity in educational populations.
