Amy J. Goldberg

Amy J. Goldberg, MD, FACS, serves as the Peters Chair of Surgery, Surgeon-in-Chief of the Temple University Health System, and Medical Director of Perioperative Services for Temple University Hospital. A 1987 graduate of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, she completed her surgical training at the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University Hospital, and has since built a distinguished academic and clinical career in surgery.

Her administrative focus involves leading system-wide initiatives that integrate cutting-edge technology into surgical workflows, ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency across Temple University Health System’s perioperative services.
