Amy Den Ouden

Amy Den Ouden is an Associate Professor in the Department of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at the University of Massachusetts Boston, College of Liberal Arts. Her work bridges historical anthropology, gender studies, and Indigenous rights.

Recent publications examine 18th-21st century Indigenous resistance, colonial policy, and UN human rights frameworks. Her work emphasizes community-engaged methodologies and decolonizing practices.
