Amy Clemens serves as an Associate Lecturer in the Department of Nursing within Curry College's School of Nursing and Health Sciences. She is a Registered Nurse transitioning to full-time faculty oversight of the nursing simulation lab, leveraging extensive clinical and pedagogical expertise.
Her academic credentials include:
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from Laboure Jr. College
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from UMass Amherst
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) as Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist from the University of Pennsylvania
- Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Walden University
Her professional focus centers on critical care nursing education and simulation-based training methodologies. As a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE), she pioneers immersive learning environments to bridge theoretical knowledge and clinical practice, particularly in high-acuity scenarios requiring rapid decision-making.
Within Curry College's infrastructure, she directs development of the nursing simulation laboratory—a controlled clinical environment where students practice emergency response protocols and complex patient management through scenario-based drills.
