Amy Altick

Amy Altick is a Teaching Associate Professor at the University of Nevada, Reno, affiliated with the Department of Biology. Her career spans both neuroscience research and biology education, with a focus on genetics, neural development, and cellular signaling. She teaches foundational courses in cell biology, genetics, and molecular biology, emphasizing inclusive pedagogy for large classes.

Her research explores the genetic basis of neurological conditions, including strabismus, and the role of multivesicular bodies (MVBs) in neuronal trafficking.
