Amr El Abbadi

Amr El Abbadi is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He earned his B.Eng. from Alexandria University, Egypt, and Ph.D. from Cornell University. His work spans databases, distributed systems, and cloud computing, focusing on fault-tolerant data management, transactional consistency, and scalability in multi-datacenter environments.
