Ammar Eloueini

Ammar Eloueini is a tenured Favrot Professor of Architecture at Tulane University, where he currently serves as Director of Graduate Architecture in the Tulane School of Architecture and Built Environment. He chairs the Digital Media Program and teaches design studios, theory, and digital fabrication seminars. Eloueini is also affiliated with the Ecole Nationale de Création Industrielle (ENSCI) in Paris as a thesis advisor. His professional practice, AEDS | AMMAR ELOUEINI DIGIT-ALL STUDIO, established in 1999, operates in Europe and the U.S., specializing in technology-driven architecture and innovative design solutions. Notable projects include the J-House, MONA Hotel, and collaborations with Issey Miyake on six retail spaces.

Eloueini holds a Master of Architecture from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture Paris-Malaquais (with honors) and a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University. His work is featured in MoMA’s permanent collection, the Centre Pompidou, and other prominent institutions. Awards include the Architectural League's Emerging Voices and multiple AIA Design Excellence citations.

His research focuses on digital fabrication, parametric design, and the integration of technology into architectural practice. Eloueini has exhibited at the Venice Biennale and published two monographs documenting his work. He remains active in academic and professional circles, balancing teaching, design innovation, and curatorial contributions.
