Amir Rafi

Amir Rafi is a postgraduate research student and Researcher at the Department of Information Security, Royal Holloway, University of London, specializing in Cyber Security. He is a member of the Information Security Group’s Smart Card and IoT Security Centre and contributes to the Distance Learning MSc Cyber Security programme as an online tutor, project supervisor, and examiner. Rafi holds a BSc in Computing from Queen Mary, University of London, and an MSc in Information Security from Royal Holloway, focusing on Security Testing, Smart Cards, RFIDs, and Embedded Systems Security. His research explores

• Trusted execution environments

His publications focus on control-flow attestation and digital rights management for secure mobile content delivery. Rafi previously worked as an analyst programmer, web developer, and e-commerce consultant. Currently, he supports the EU Horizon 2020 EXFILES project, which develops mobile forensic methods in collaboration with law enforcement agencies and private sector partners.
