Amir Barati Farimani

Dr. Amir Barati Farimani is an Associate Professor at Carnegie Mellon University's College of Engineering, jointly appointed in Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering. His work bridges machine learning, data science, and molecular dynamics simulations to solve complex problems in bioengineering and materials science.

• Education: B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Ferdowsi University and Tehran TMU University, followed by a Ph.D. in Mechanical Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2015).
