- Education: PhD in Theatre Studies from York University, TESOL Certificate from York University, and TASOL Diploma from Education Canada College.
Research Interests include:
- Arab Theatre
- Theatre of the Oppressed
- Afro-Arab Cultural Heritage and Representation
- Literary Translation (Arabic-English)
He teaches courses such as An Introduction to Modern Arab and Muslim Drama, Introduction to Arabic I/II, Intermediate Arabic I/II, and Arab Culture. Additional courses include Migration, Diaspora, and Exile: Muslim Narratives, EMLS 129R - Written Academic English, and ARTS 130 - Theatre for Social Change.
