Ami Woo is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Pacific Lutheran University's School of Nursing, located in Tacoma, WA. She holds a DNP in Nursing from the University of Washington (2024), BSN (2016) and ADN (2015) from the University of Washington and Shoreline Community College, respectively, an MSc in Management Psychology from the University of Nottinghamq (2011), and a BA in German Studies from Kyungpook National University (2006).
Her expertise spans acute care nursing (med-surg, telemetry, pediatric ICU), urgent care nursing, and clinical teaching. She has extensive clinical experience in cardiac/telemetry/stepdown care for adults, pediatric cardiac ICU, and outpatient settings, with a focus on patient education and health promotion. Currently, she mentors ABSN students at PLU, emphasizing skills lab instruction and clinical practice.
