Ami Jackson is a Nursing Associate Lecturer at Teesside University's School of Health & Social Care (SHLS Nursing & Midwifery). She holds a Master's in Global Leadership and Management in Healthcare (2023), a Master's in Leadership & Transformation Module (2018), a Practice Development Degree (2013), and a Diploma in Adult Nursing (2007).
Her research focuses on Health Promotion, Wellbeing, and Lifespan studies, with contributions to topics like the Health Promotion Model and Sociological Factors influencing healthcare. She co-authored chapters on applied health sciences and health promotion principles in academic texts for nursing practitioners.
Prior to academia, Jackson held clinical roles at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead, including Ward Sister and Preceptorship Facilitator. She currently contributes to nursing education and clinical practice through her academic and external roles.
