Amely Instance

Amely Instance serves as an Associate Lecturer in Ballet Technique at Falmouth University, teaching Classical Ballet on the Dance & Choreography degree since 2014 and the Musical Theatre degree since 2020. With a career spanning over three decades since 1993, she instructs RAD Syllabus and non-syllabus classes globally across the UK, US, and China for students aged 3.5 to adult, covering Pre-Primary to Advanced 2 levels.

Her qualifications include:

• 1993: Diploma in the Art of Teaching Classical Ballet, Royal Academy of Dance
• 1992: Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Dance, Royal Academy of Dance

Her professional expertise centers on Classical Ballet technique pedagogy, examination preparation, and performance. As a Royal Academy of Dance Examiner since 2007, she conducts international assessments up to Advanced 2 level and provides external examining for teaching qualifications. Her background includes performing with Angela Praed's C.O.D contemporary dance company (1995-1998) at venues including Jackson's Place and Glastonbury Festival.
