Amanda Porter

Amanda Porter, Clinical Professor and Director of Clinical Education at Oklahoma City University (OCU), joined the faculty in 2018. She leads the clinical education component of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program, emphasizing pediatrics and research. Her role includes curriculum development and oversight of clinical training.

Education:

• Master of Physical Therapy (2003), University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center

Research focuses on pediatric outcomes, including her role as Project Coordinator for a national study validating the School Outcomes Measures (SOM) for students receiving school-based therapy. She also explores infant assessment and interprofessional education.

Service includes membership on OCU’s Academic Program and Standards Committee, Strategic Planning Committee, and Faculty Senate.
