Amanda Piccoli

Amanda Piccoli is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy and Director of Clinical Education at the University of Hartford's College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions. She coordinates both part-time and full-time student clinical experiences in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

Research & Expertise: Her focus areas include subacute rehabilitation, geriatric populations, and fall prevention. She explores mindfulness training to reduce stress perception and integrates interdisciplinary education to enhance clinical communication. She holds certifications in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Selective Hydromechanical Debridement, with expertise in neurological examination and intervention for vestibular dysfunction.

Teaching: Dr. Piccoli instructs coursework on physical therapy examination and intervention, pharmacology, and vestibular rehabilitation. She also teaches assessment and intervention skills for cardiopulmonary disorders in acute and chronic conditions.
