Amanda Lenore Mui is a Senior Research Associate at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the Managing Senior Analyst at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security. She also serves as Program Director for the Center’s Emerging Leaders in Biosecurity Initiative (ELBI) Fellowship.
Research Interests: Ms. Mui specializes in global health security, pandemic preparedness, and emerging diagnostics. Her work bridges infectious disease epidemiology, laboratory science, and public health policy, with a focus on testing and surveillance strategies during outbreaks.
Publications: Her recent work includes studies on risk-based management of mass gatherings during pandemics, serology testing frameworks, and gene drive governance. These reflect expertise in immunoassay development, decision-making under crisis, and health systems resilience.
