Amanda Konradi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at Loyola University Maryland. She previously held positions at Ohio University (1994–2003) and George Washington University (2003–2004) as an Elizabeth J. Somers Fellow.
Education:
- Ph.D. in Sociology with a concentration in Women's Studies, University of California, Santa Cruz (1994)
Research Interests:
- Quality of life and stigma in Fibrous Dysplasia (FD)/McCune Albright Syndrome (MAS) patients, using data from the FD/MAS Alliance Patient Registry
- Campus sexual assault policies, including Clery Act compliance, Title IX, and victim protections
- Rape prosecution, survivor preparation, and courtroom dynamics
- Social marketing strategies for healthcare access and victim support
Scientific Awards:
- Elizabeth J. Somers Fellowship (2003–2004) at George Washington University
Advising and Grants:
- Mentored Loyola students: Emily Delaney, Alyssa Quenzel, Angelica Puzio, and her daughter Tirza Konradi
- Collaborated with Dr. Andrea Burke on craniofacial FD patient outcomes
- Developed questionnaires for the FD/MAS Alliance Patient Registry
Labs and Organizations:
- Active member of the FD/MAS Alliance (formerly Fibrous Dysplasia Foundation), serving on the Steering Committee of the Patient Registry
