Amanda Kaminski is an Assistant Professor at Texas Lutheran University in the College of Liberal Arts, where she teaches in both the Social Innovation & Social Entrepreneurship Program and the Department of Theology, Philosophy, & Classical Language. Her work bridges theology, spirituality, and social change through research, publications, and collaborative projects.

Kaminski's research centers on Social Innovation, Global Feminist Theology, Trauma-Informed Spirituality, and Conflict Transformation. Her coedited 15-volume series Past Light for Present Life (Fordham University Press) explores how historical Christian texts can inform modern ethics, spirituality, and social engagement.
Recent publications focus on spirituality and social justice (e.g., Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Dorothee Soelle), eco-theology (Catherine Keller, Teilhard de Chardin), and medieval theological structures (Aquinas, Cassian). These works emphasize dialogic engagement with historical texts to address contemporary issues.
