Amanda Huynh

Amanda Huynh is an Associate Professor and Industrial Design Coordinator at Ohio State's Department of Design. Her interdisciplinary research bridges product design, food design, and social innovation, focusing on participatory design futures. Key areas include food-based approaches to aging with dignity, tangible co-design interfaces, and embodied play in remote child collaboration technologies.

She has received the IDSA Young Educator Award (2023) and Pratt Institute DEI Fellowship (2023-2024). Her recent ACM publications explore child-centered design methodologies using telepresence robotics.
