Dr. Amanda Gentry is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at Shorter University's College of Business, serving as the COB Global Experience Director and Sigma Beta Delta Faculty Advisor. She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, an MBA from Tennessee Wesleyan University, and a B.Sc. in Human Development from Lee University. Her research focuses on human resource development, leadership, entrepreneurship, and nonprofit management. Prior to academia, she worked in nonprofits, managing grants, fundraising, and volunteer programs for organizations like Fellowship of Christian Athletes and United Way. She previously served as Director of Management Excellence at Tennessee Wesleyan’s Goodfriend School of Business. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, cooking, and mentoring students to 'make their visions a reality.'
