Amanda D. Clark is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Political Science at the University of Texas at Dallas and serves as Director of the Initiative for Civic Leadership. Her research focuses on election administration, citizen engagement, and governance, with extensive publications on democracy, administrative burden, and emotional labor in public service.

Her work bridges academia and practice through collaborations with election offices, including managing Early Voting in Palm Beach County during the 2020 elections. Recent research trends include analyzing election integrity units, urban governance challenges, and the impact of social movements on democratic resilience. She also explores pedagogical approaches to connect public administration with election systems.
