Amanda Choutka is a Lecturer in the Writing Studies Program at American University, affiliated with the Center for Leadership and Community Engagement (MGC 273). She holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from American University and a B.A. in English and Creative Writing from Dickinson College. Her research focuses on community-based learning, activism, and supporting marginalized student populations such as first-generation students and individuals with disabilities.
