Amanda Beth Hurst

Amanda Beth Hurst is an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Arkansas School of Law. She specializes in Legal Research and Writing, teaching first-year curriculum and advanced writing courses. Hurst also serves as Director of Student Competitions and Co-Coach for the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition team.

Professional Experience includes clerkship with Judge Bobby E. Shepherd of the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and service on the Arkansas Judicial Discipline & Disability Commission, as a Special Justice for the Arkansas Supreme Court, and on the State Board of Election Commissioners.
