Amad Qadeer

Amad Qadeer, MD, is an Assistant Professor in Chronic Pain Medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston). He is double board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and practices evidence-based, multidisciplinary care for chronic pain conditions.

• Education: Undergraduate in Sports Medicine/Kinesiology from Rice University, MD from Baylor College of Medicine, followed by General Surgery internship, Anesthesiology residency, and Pain Medicine fellowship at University of Vermont Medical Center.

Clinical Interests: Focus on neuromodulation techniques (spinal cord stimulation, dorsal root ganglion stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation), kyphoplasty/vertebral augmentation, and medical education. Active member of professional societies including ASRA, ASPN, and ASA.
