Alyssa Vikesland

Alyssa Vikesland, Ph.D., is a Professor of Instruction at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), affiliated with University College. She holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Washington, and a B.S. in Chemistry from Wheaton College. Her career transitioned from research to education, with prior roles in educational publishing and teaching at Washington University in St. Louis and secondary schools. At UTSA since 2019, she emphasizes student engagement and serves as an advisor to student groups.
