Dr Alyra Shaw is a Senior Research Fellow and Affiliate of the Centre for Health Services Research at the University of Queensland. She serves as Project Manager for the NHMRC Ideas project "Organ Transplantation as a Model of Reversible Frailty" (2023-2026). Her expertise spans clinical research project management, ethics, protocol development, and data reporting.
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Hons) in Optometry
- Graduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics
- PhD in "Eyelid pressure on the cornea" (QUT Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Award)
Her research interests integrate clinical project management with applications in ocular health and frailty modeling. She contributes to industry-funded clinical trials and interdisciplinary health services research.
