Alvin Smucker

Alvin Smucker is a University Distinguished Professor in the Department of Plant, Soil and Microbial Sciences at Michigan State University (MSU), affiliated with the College of Agriculture & Natural Resources. His research focuses on soil biophysics, soil water and ion fluxes within aggregates/macropores, soil water quality, and soil carbon sequestration.
