Alptekin Temizel

Dr. Alptekin Temizel is a Full Professor at the Graduate School of Informatics, Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara, Turkey. He leads the METU Deep Learning and Computer Vision Lab (DLCV) and the GPU Research and Education Center. His research focuses on computer vision, deep learning, GPU computing, and medical image analysis. He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from METU (1999) and a Ph.D. in Computer Vision from the University of Surrey, UK (2006).
