Alorē Niemi

Alorē Niemi is an Adjunct Professor at the College for Creative Studies, specializing in sustainable fashion design. She has taught at institutions including Pensole Lewis College and the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD), while also establishing her brand Worst Lady, which focuses on upcycling and experimental design.

Research Interests: Alorē dedicates her practice to addressing the climate crisis through localized sourcing, natural textiles, and ethical supply chain practices in fashion. Her work spans accessories, handbags, upholstery, and wearable art.
