She previously served as Deputy Dean (2022-2024) and holds a faculty appointment in medical ethics.
Her scholarship critically examines:

- Equity implications of Medicaid and Medicare policies
- Financial security in aging and long-term care systems
- Legal frameworks for vulnerable populations, including immigrants and low-income communities
- Political economy of health reform, particularly post-ACA developments
Recent publications analyze trends in health policy litigation (e.g., Supreme Court decisions on Medicaid funding), digital privacy in healthcare, pandemic-era insurance systems, and the ethical dimensions of dementia care. Her work consistently addresses systemic inequities and the tension between market-based solutions and social insurance models.
