Allison Chung is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Auburn University's Harrison School of Pharmacy. She specializes in Pediatrics and maintains an active practice site in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the University of South Alabama, Women's and Children's Hospital in Mobile, Alabama. She also holds an adjunct academic appointment with the University of South Alabama School of Medicine.

- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (1999)
Dr. Chung's research focuses on drug evaluation and pharmacokinetics in pediatric critical care populations, as well as the use of lactobacillus, iron, and vitamin D supplements in the PICU. Additional interests include neurology, traumatic brain injury, anticonvulsants, asthma, pediatric education, and professionalism in pharmacy. Her practice experience spans roles at USA HIV Women’s and Children’s clinic, USA BreathMobile, and Pediatric neurology clinics.

Dr. Chung completed a PGY-1 residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center (2000) and a Fellowship in Pediatric Pharmacology/Toxicology at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital under Dr. Michael Reed and Dr. Jeffrey Blumer. She has obtained specialized certificates in the ACCP Teaching and Learning Program and the ACCP Applied Pharmacogenomics Program.
