Allen Huang is Professor and Associate Dean (UG Programs) at HKUST's School of Business and Management, Department of Accounting. He holds a Ph.D. from Duke University and specializes in AI applications in finance, blockchain, and corporate governance.
His research investigates judicial influences on corporate behavior, expropriation risks, and regulatory impacts on financial reporting. Recent work includes neural network models for financial text analysis and blockchain auditing frameworks.
Prof. Huang has received multiple teaching awards and leads HKUST's initiatives in fintech education and CBDC research.
