Dr. Alla Klimenkowa-Krohner is a DAAD PRIME Fellow at the University of Siegen and the University of Texas at Austin, specializing in Romance Linguistics with a focus on language contact, Creole languages, and metaphor/discourse analysis. Her research explores postcolonial identity discourses, particularly the concept of mestizaje in Latin American and Caribbean contexts.
