Alja Lipavic Oštir

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alja Lipavic Oštir is a full Professor at the Faculty of Arts, University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra (UCM), specializing in Foreign Languages and Cultures (Study Program 7357). Her appointment as Professor was finalized on December 10, 2019, following a rigorous habilitation and inauguration process initiated in May 2018.

Her research focuses on linguistic and cultural frameworks within Slavic language studies, with emphasis on philological methodologies and cross-cultural communication. The interdisciplinary nature of her work bridges theoretical linguistics with practical cultural analysis.

Professor Lipavic Oštir's academic validation involved rigorous peer review by an international commission including: Prof. Libuše Spáčilová (Palacký University), Prof. Lenka Vaňková (University of Ostrava), and Prof. Ladislav Sisák (Prešov).
