Alison Hill, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, with affiliations at the Institute for Computational Medicine and the Infectious Disease Dynamics Group. She transitioned from Harvard, where she completed her graduate studies and served as a junior group leader for six years. Her research focuses on mathematical modeling to understand infectious diseases, particularly viral infections like HIV/AIDS and SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19, drug resistance, and evolutionary dynamics.

Research Interests: Alison’s team collaborates with experimental biologists and clinicians to model viral dynamics within hosts and across populations. Their work integrates diverse data (e.g., genetic, pharmacokinetic, behavioral) to predict disease outcomes and inform policy.
