Dr. Alison Hampton is a Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at the Ulster University Business School, affiliated with the Department of Management, Leadership & Marketing. She holds an MEd in Higher Education in Practice (2018–2020) and has been actively contributing to research on entrepreneurial networks, Generation Z workplace dynamics, and social capital in business contexts.

Her research focuses on female entrepreneurship, networking activities, and intergenerational workforce trends. Notably, she received the Ulster University Business School Female Entrepreneurship Research Grant (2017).
Current projects include EPIC Futures NI, which aims to address economic inactivity in Northern Ireland through collaborative innovation. She also engages in editorial work for journals like the International Journal of Gender and Entrepreneurship and International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior & Research.
