Alison A. Galbraith, MD, MPH is a Professor and Director of the Division of Health Services Research in the Department of Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center and Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. She holds leadership roles including Director of Research in Population Health Services at Boston Medical Center Health System and Director of the General Academic Pediatrics Fellowship.
Education: MD from University of Rochester School of Medicine, MPH from University of Washington, BA from Stanford University.
Research focuses on health insurance design impacts on access/affordability for children's healthcare, funded by NICHD, AHRQ, and PCORI. Key areas include ACA Marketplace policies, high-deductible plans, and healthcare disparities. She has published 91+ articles and led 3 NIH-funded grants (2022-2025).
Awards include the Gordon Moore Excellence in Mentoring Award (2020) and Robert H. Ebert Career Development Award (2017). Mentors diverse trainees in academic pediatrics and health services research.
