Dr. Alison Bacon is an Associate Professor in Psychology at the University of Plymouth, where she leads the MSc/MPsych Clinical Psychology Programmes. Her research focuses on psychosocial processes underlying women's mental and physical health, particularly exploring trauma, self-silencing, and gendered health pathways.
