Alisa Lincoln is a Professor of Sociology (College of Social Sciences and Humanities) and Health Sciences (Bouvé College of Health Sciences) at Northeastern University, and Director of the Institute for Health Equity and Social Justice Research. She leads research initiatives, grant support, and multidisciplinary collaborations focused on social exclusion, mental health disparities, and community-inclusive research models. Her work addresses how social disadvantage impacts mental health care access and outcomes.

Research Interests: Dr. Lincoln investigates intersectional social determinants of health, particularly for marginalized populations. She develops participatory approaches to integrate communities into research design and policy advocacy, emphasizing equity in mental health systems.
