Dr. Alina Gregor is a Researcher in Theater Pedagogy and Performance Studies at the University of Hamburg since 2018. She holds a Diplom in Theater Studies (Gießen) and a Ph.D. She teaches at the University of Hamburg and other German institutions, focusing on acting, performance, and theater mediation. Since 2008, she has been a director and lecturer at the Thalia Theater and teaches theater at Hamburg's teacher training institute. Her work includes directing plays invited to festivals like Lessingtage and Theater der Welt. She currently pursues a PhD on 'Irritationsmomenten im performativen Theaterunterricht' under Prof. Wolfgang Sting. Her students, such as Maximilian Mundt and Dennis Svensson, have achieved notable success in theater and film.
Education: Diplom in Theaterwissenschaft (Justus Liebig University Giessen), ongoing PhD at University of Hamburg.
Research Interests: Pedagogical approaches in performative theater education, cross-disciplinary performance methodologies, and critical analysis of teaching practices in theater arts. Her work bridges theoretical research with practical application, emphasizing innovative teaching strategies.
