Alicja Babst-Kostecka is an Associate Professor and Director of the Center for Environmentally Sustainable Mining at the University of Arizona's College of Science. Her research focuses on plant adaptation to environmental changes, metal tolerance, and hyperaccumulation in metalliferous environments.
