Alicia Tucker

Alicia K. Tucker, MD, CAQ, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family, Community & Preventive Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine. She serves as Interim Sports Medicine Fellowship Program Director and is a board-certified family physician with an added qualification in primary care sports medicine. Dr. Tucker previously held faculty roles at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and served as team physician for Lincoln University, University of Maryland, College Park, and Chestnut Hill College.

Education:

• MD: Albany Medical College
• BS in Chemical Engineering: University of Maryland at College Park

Clinical Focus: Sports medicine, family medicine, sexual health, and adolescent health. Provides care at Drexel University's Student Health Center, Center City, and Manayunk locations.

Research & Presentations: Specializes in overuse injuries, patellofemoral syndrome, and exertional compartment syndrome. Presented at conferences including the American College of Sports Medicine and American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. Authored publications on chronic exertional compartment syndrome and pre-participation evaluations.
