Alicia Troncoso Lora

Alicia Troncoso Lora is a Professor at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide, affiliated with the Department of Sports and Information Technology and the area of Computer Languages and Systems. She is actively involved in the DS&BD Data Science & Big Data Lab and previously collaborated with the DASE Data Analytics Science & Engineering group. Her research focuses on data science, systems engineering, and optimization techniques in power systems.

She earned her PhD from the University of Seville in 2004 with the thesis 'Advanced prediction and optimization techniques applied to power systems,' supervised by Dr. José Cristóbal Riquelme Santos and Dr. José Luis Martínez Ramos. She participates in doctoral programs related to Management Control and Finance, Engineering, and Data Science & Bioinformatics.
