Alicia Thomas is an Assistant Teaching Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay within the College of Health, Education and Social Welfare and the Nursing & Health Studies department. She teaches in the BSN program and combines her clinical expertise with instructional design to enhance nursing education.

Her clinical experience spans acute care float nursing, medical-surgical nursing, critical care (ICU), neurology, behavioral psychiatry, and emergency/obstetric care. In teaching, she specializes in student engagement, cultural competence, and inclusive learning environments, developing innovative curricula and assessment tools.
Alicia actively participates in program maintenance, teaching workshops, and service activities. She has presented on strategies to reduce academic dishonesty and collaborates across disciplines to support educational excellence.
