Alicia Moreno Gimenez

Dr. Alicia Moreno Gimenez is a Senior Lecturer in Hispanic Studies at the School of Global Affairs, Lancaster University. Her research focuses on cultural identity, translation studies, and global mobilities, with particular attention to Catalan and Spanish literature. She has published a transdisciplinary book on identities in motion and actively participates in academic conferences exploring diaspora, exile, and cultural narratives.

Her professional activities include organizing events like the French and Spanish Film Day and delivering lectures on topics such as merce Rodoreda’s exile narratives and Catalan identity. She contributes to interdisciplinary dialogues through her work on border crossings and material culture in exile.
