Alice Xu

Alice Xu is an Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Social Policy and Practice and holds a secondary appointment in the Department of Political Science. Her research focuses on the comparative political economy of development, urban and distributive politics, inequality, environmental politics in the Global South, and quantitative/spatial methods. She received her Ph.D. in Government (Political Science) from Harvard University and a B.A. in Economics-Political Science and Sustainable Development from Columbia University.
