Alice Muncy serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting and Business Law at Baylor University, where she teaches Advanced Managerial Accounting (ACCT 4308). She joined Baylor in Fall 2020 after completing her Ph.D. in Accountancy at Georgia State University.

Muncy’s research focuses on managerial accounting, with particular emphasis on:
- Management control systems
- Compensation structures
- Behavioral experiments in accounting
- Corporate social responsibility (CSR) and ESG metrics
- Survey-based research methodologies
Her recent work explores how management accounting frameworks inform organizational strategies during crises, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, with applications in healthcare and public sector accounting.
