Alice Goodenough is a researcher at the Countryside and Community Research Institute (CCRI) within the University of Gloucestershire, joining in November 2020. Her work centers on the health and wellbeing benefits derived from trees, woods, and forests through innovative interdisciplinary methodologies.

Her methodological approach emphasizes creative, arts-based frameworks and collaborative research design with diverse stakeholders to translate findings into evidence-based interventions.
Alice actively partners with organizations across sectors to evaluate outcomes in natural and creative environments. As a core member of the CCRI, she contributes to the institute's mission of addressing critical countryside-community dynamics through transdisciplinary research that bridges academic rigor with practical application.
